How was Geologic Congress in Portugal?

An Italian student’s report, a week after the International Geology Congress

“My experience in Portugal was one of the most beautiful of my life. I had the opportunity to meet people from countries other than mine and improve my English. I met fantastic people, teachers, young people and especially families. I immediately felt comfortable with everyone, my host family was wonderful, kind, helpful and above all very welcoming. We carried out many activities during the week, but the ones that impressed me the most were the experiences with all the students, because we really had the opportunity to talk and try to communicate with all the foreign students. I found everything beautiful and I think it couldn’t have been better organized. We always had our free spaces and moments, as well as the moments when we had to walk and perform tasks. I would do this experience a thousand times, which I will certainly recommend to everyone and speak as best I can.” – E. Rachele, 02/05/2020
